Volunteer Opportunity – Professional Photographer
Are you a passionate photographer looking to use your skills to support a local heritage organisation?
The Aycliffe & District Bus Preservation Society and Aycliffe Bus Museum are seeking a volunteer photographer to help capture the stories, people, vehicles and events that make our museum unique.
As a volunteer photographer, you will play an important role in preserving our history and promoting our activities to a wider audience. Your images will help showcase our collection of historic vehicles, restoration projects, educational activities, community events and dedicated volunteers.
Key Responsibilities:
Photograph museum events, open days and external rallies.
Capture high-quality images of historic vehicles and restoration projects.
Create engaging visual content for social media, marketing materials and publications.
Help build and maintain a photographic archive documenting the Society's activities and heritage assets.
Work alongside volunteers and committee members to support promotional campaigns and fundraising initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
Experience in photography, either professionally or at an advanced amateur level.
Ability to produce high-quality digital images.
A creative eye for storytelling and visual presentation.
Enthusiasm for heritage, transport history, engineering or community engagement.
Ability to work independently and as part of a volunteer team.
